5 Dogs and 2 Kittens Adopted at Lifestyles Event

Thanks to Lifestyles and our dedicated volunteers, Lakeshore PAWS was able to find homes for 5 dogs and 2 kittens during a recent event on Saturday, May 5 held outside of Lifestyles in Valparaiso.

Petunia [left] was so excited to go home with her new family! Zelda [right] found a wonderful new home too!

Congratulations to Nike [left] who got to go home with his new forever family! Piper [right] poses with her new family.

Marble [left] poses with three young volunteers from the softball team that donated more than $500 to Lakeshore PAWS! Marble is still looking for a home. Lakeshore PAWS volunteers [right] are so essential to this organization!

We hope all of our puppies and kittens have a wonderful new life with their families! And thanks again to Lifestyles and our wonderful volunteers. We couldn’t do this without the support from the community and our volunteers!

Black is Beautiful Adoption Special

Did you know that black dogs and cats are the most overlooked animals in shelters and rescues, even though they are just as lovable and friendly as all the other animals?

For the entire month of May, we will be running an adoption special to help find our beautiful black dogs wonderful, loving homes. Adopt a black dog from Lakeshore PAWS and receive $50 off the adoption fee May 1st through 31st.

We Need Your Help!

Lakeshore PAWS is looking for volunteers to help with our Run for Paws 5K Cross Country Invitational/2K Dog Walk held on Sunday, June 24 at Sunset Hill Park (775 Meridian Rd, Valparaiso, IN).

The event kicks off at 2:30 p.m., and the race starts at 4 p.m., but volunteers will be needed before the event begins to set up and afterward to clean up.

Volunteers 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
